Josiah Robert, you truly love everything about life + are such a joy.
So thankful you’re ours.
You already act like your daddy – serious, thoughtful, and so very sweet. You sneeze like him, yawn like him, are strong like him, love music like him, and curl your toes like him. Your personalities are the same & I love it. You love him so so much it melts my heart every day. I pray you grow up to be a man after God’s heart like him. That you grow up to love your wife the way your daddy loves me. That you have a passion for His people & His kingdom & His Word.
You love to stare at the big world map above our bed. I like to think you’re already dreaming of where you will go to share the gospel. I also like to think you’re already a little adventurer & love traveling & can’t wait to get to Haiti with us – you’re gonna love it, I promise! I can’t wait to see all the places you go + things you do to further the kingdom. And I really can’t wait to see how your little life in Haiti is used to share Jesus.
You are so close to smiling + my heart can’t handle it. I swear you know how to smile with your eyes, it’s just hard to figure out what to do with your little mouth.
You love snuggling. You love eating (obviously – look at that belly and those rolls). You love sleeping. You love bath time. You love tummy time. You love time with your Nana and Papa. You love going for car rides & waks. You love staring at the ceiling & looking at fans and lights. You even like having your diaper changed. Like I said – you love everything about life.
The only thing you don’t like is gas – and I don’t blame you!
You truly are my little love.
Happy one month, sweet boy.
